Getachew Mergia

Specializes in Cooperative Enterprises Market System Development and holds an MA in Cooperative Marketing Management and a BSc in Agriculture. He provides strategic leadership on re-engaging cooperative enterprises in conflict zones so they can contribute to economic recovery, sustainable development, and long-term resilience.

Supports B4Coop in tracking whether initiatives in post-war communities are producing meaningful change. Her monitoring and evaluation work provides evidence and learning that can guide stronger, more inclusive, and more resilient interventions.
